I just did a workshop/photoshoot, shot a play, and then another photoshoot in the past week. All of them involved learning more about the use of my camera, manual mode, off-camera lighting, and - in the case of the photoshoots - how to envision what I want, direct the models, and get the shots.
Here's an example: I said "Ladies, look at each other like you're interested more in each other than Dave." I got just what I wanted.
