I've been fortunate to have a remarkable young woman as my assistant / apprentice / intern for the past couple of months.
Sadly, she (Megan) will be returning to finish her last year at University of Pennsylvania in two weeks. We've had fun, she's been a great help, and I've come to value her a lot. I knew it was just for the summer, but that doesn't make it any easier to see her go.
A few weeks ago I said "We should go do something in the studio for you. What would you like to do?" Little did I know how much cleaning up would result from her idea.
She sent me an inspiration image with a woman clapping her hands with powder, making a cloud. That led us to a few hours of copious quantities of baby powder, three models (plus Megan), the assistance of my wife, and a persistent aroma of baby powder in my studio.
These images are a combination of images taken by Megan and edited by me, and images taken and edited by me. The last two are of Megan, who thought it was so much fun that she couldn't resist being a part of the session in front of the camera.
